TKH acquires Alphatronics

TKH announces that it has reached agreement on the acquisition of Alphatronics BV in Nijkerk. Alphatronics 

develops, produces and distributes high-quality technical solutions in the field of security and care systems.

Alphatronics has its own development and production facilities, which enables the company to deliver 

customer-specific products and projects. The Alphatronics security and care solutions are technically 

high-level products, such as (wireless) alarm systems, control panels, IP transceivers, receiver equipment 

for the receiver room and a varied range of care-related products. 

The acquisition of Alphatronics is in line with TKH’s objective of further expanding the share of security 

solutions in its overall turnover to 20%. The move also strengthens the product portfolio for care 

solutions through the acquisition of in-house technology. 

Alphatronics has 22 employees (FTEs) and realises annual turnover of € 6 million. The Alphatronics 

activities will become part of the TKH security cluster, which is part of the Building Solutions business 

segment. 

The acquisition of Alphatronics will make a positive contribution to TKH’s earnings per share as of the third 

quarter of 2010. The acquisition will be financed from existing resources.
